Boarding & Day care
Boarding facilities will keep pets overnight whereas a Doggie Daycare is somewhere where dogs can go while their owners or at work or away for only part of the day. Some facilities may offer both options so be sure to check with them. All pets must be current on their vaccinations in order to stay at these facilities. Also, be sure to ask about their vaccine protocols. While all places require the Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine, some may require it given every 6 months rather than once a year.

Training
Training is an essential part of owning a dog and some dogs (and their owners) may need a little bit more help than others. There are several types of training available. In-home training is considered the most effective because the trainer works with you to understand your dog's behavior and how to control and modify it. There are also facilities where you can bring your dog to training classes and work alongside other dogs and their owners. For the more active breeds, agility training is offered as well.
